The Crusaders came out the right side of epic semi final against the Hurricanes in Christchurch last week. The Saders won the game 30-26 and although they were 13-0 up in the first half the Canes refused to lie down and came within 1 point of parity in the second half. Richie Mo’unga scored 20 of the Saders points and Sevu Reece scored 2 of their 3 tries.In the quarter finals the Crusaders beat the Highlanders 38-14 and they are unbeaten in Christchurch this season although a perfect home record was dented by the Sharks who drew 21-21 at this venue in Round 12.Including the play offs the Crusaders have won 9 and drawn 1 of 10 home games this season, scoring an average of 5 tries and 38 points per game and conceding an average of 2 tries and 16 points per game.
Jaguares:
Jaguares made it through to the final after a comprehensive 39-7 win (5 tries to 1) over the Brumbies in Buenos Aires last week, smashing a pre-match handicap which had started at 4.5 points with many bookmakers.As South African Conference winners Jaguares also had home advantage in the quarter finals where they fought back from 16-8 down to eventually beat the Chiefs 21-16.Jaguares had lost a home fixture to the Chiefs (30-27) in the Round 7 of the regular season. Other matches against New Zealand sides saw them win at home to the Blues (23-19) in Round 3 and on tour they lost to the Highlanders (32-27) in Dunedin in Round 13 and beat the Hurricanes (28-20) in Wellington in Round 14.
